was the son of Fancesco “Frank” Anzalone and Francesca “Francis” Anzalone, husband to Anoinette E. Pietroniro, and father to three daughters including Susan Anzalone Sims. Gaetano lived a life full of love and passed away on June 9 2006 in Commack, New York.
“July 16th the most celebrated day in our family as it was my Dad’s birthday. He grew up rather poor in Harlem, NY where he lived in a 2 bedroom apartment with his parents & 5 siblings. He told stories of how he’d give up his dinner for his sisters. He told those stories, not for sympathy but to explain how differently he grew up than we did. He was a mostly quiet, but funny man who lived his life for his wife & his daughters. He was so beloved by most who knew him. Happy Birthday in Heaven Dad. You will forever be missed by all of us “
